Local RGV Testimonials
"This nonprofit organization provides much needed free medical and spiritual care to the communities of the Rio Grande Valley. Importantly, they do so within the Gospel of Life and the faith and morals of the Catholic Church.
Serving persons facing a health crisis while also offering to attend to their spiritual wounds and concerns, is a work that follows the example of Christ himself.
I am grateful to God that we have Culture of Life Ministries volunteers and missionaries serving those most in need in our Diocese. May the Lord prosper their work."
-Most Reverend Daniel E. Flores,
Bishop of Brownsville
We are incredibly grateful for the invaluable support and impact that Agape Missionaries for Life has had on Loaves and Fishes and our community. Their participation in our health fairs has been instrumental in improving the well-being of our residents and community. We would like to recognize Lilliana Cozzi, a nurse with a heart of gold, along with Dr. Robinson and his amazing team of volunteers. They have been a constant source of support for Loaves & Fishes and our homeless population, always available to assist with appointments and medical inquiries. Lilly, Agape Missionaries for Life, and the incredible team at Cultural Life Ministries in Harlingen have truly been a blessing to our community.

Passionate for Christ and the mission He has given them. Humble in heart and action, always considering others before themselves.

Medical missionaries reach people at their weakest points. They provide care in ways other missionaries simply can't, and that makes their lives and their ministries incredibly fulfilling. But while medical missions meet deep and physical and spiritual needs, they also provide benefits for the ones doing the work. Agape missionaries are the life-blood of medical missions on the border… and it’s not an easy assignment. They have to be resourceful, self-sacrificing, and incredibly connected to Christ. There is no monetary amount that can inspire a person to give of themselves in the way that they do, living alongside the marginalized, tasked to heal the incurable, with little resources. It’s only through faith, resilience, and your support that they are able to make the impact on the lives that they do. I can’t think of a better team of people to deliver the message of the gospel then those who are invited to step into the most intimate of spaces with their patients health. I am eternally thankful they have chosen to invest in our community and proud to support their work.
